Julian House

Julian House did all the graphic design for Berberian Sound Studio.  This included the posters, the Giallo inspired title sequence for the film-within-a-film 'The Equestrian Vortex' & the reel to reel tape boxes that appear in the film.

Here are some stunning alternative poster ideas that Julian produced that didn't get used as official posters but were exhibited at the Curzon Soho along with other artwork & props to coincide with the film's release.

Julian is perhaps best known for his record sleeve design for Oasis and Primal Scream albums.  His film poster work is always a cut above the rest, I love the poster he designed for Lynne Ramsay's Morvern Callar (below).  He has worked extensively with Broadcast (who provided all the original music for Berberian Sound Studio) designing all of their album covers and recording with them as The Focus Group.
